In honor of Rockwood's 50th Anniversary Celebration, join Rockwood's Curator, Kristen Matulewicz, as she discusses the influences and inspiration for We the People. This lecture explores how cultural climate change affected this exhibition's development and crystalized Rockwood's responsibility to strengthen its connections with the community by expanding on the stories we tell and the partners who help tell them. Kristen highlights newly discovered Rockwood histories that influenced the artworks on view in We the People...and a few of our community's expectations that drive this change. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Bring proof of memberships for discounted rates at check-in.
