Description

Join us as we learn about some of the rich folklore within the Piedmont region of North Carolina. In this program, we will dive into Piedmont Blues music and its significant influence on music in the past and today. We will learn about the origins of this genre and its ties to the tobacco industry, its unique qualities, and a few of the incredible artists who created it. We will also listen to some of their music, so get ready to hear some of the classics! This program is open to ages 12+.
