About this event
Come catch the wave! Open to swimmers ages 5-18 who have been promoted from the White team. A swimmer's group placement will be the same as the group they were in on the final practice of the Fall season. If you did not participate in the Fall please contact Coach Ethan to schedule an evaluation. Practice days/times will be: M- 6:30-8 T- 6:30-8 W- 6:30-8 Th- 6:30-8 F- 6:30-8 Gray and Black teams will have practices offered 5 days a week. Swimmers who have chosen the 3 days/week plan will not be required to come on specific days, rather they may pick and choose the 3 days that are most convenient to their schedule. Technique will still be pushed on a daily basis, however there will be a much larger emphasis on interval training. Swimmers will learn to train in IMs, Sprints, Distance, as well as specialty stroke, and learn the fine details of perfecting their races. Swimmers, especially those in the Black group, are strongly encouraged to participate in the 5 day plan.
