Crack the case with science. This session pairs the high-energy spirit of our Signature Camp with a deep dive into the world of forensic science and criminalistics. Designed for Grades 3–5 investigators ready for real-world science, CSI Academy transforms a campus room into a high-stakes evidence lab. Throughout the week, campers step into the role of Forensic Technicians, mastering the specialized skills needed to analyze a crime scene. From dusting for latent fingerprints and analyzing blood spatter patterns (using simulated fluids) to soil chromatography and DNA extraction (from fruit), our investigators use the scientific method to follow the facts. They’ll learn to document evidence, interview "witnesses," and build a logical case. It’s a week of critical thinking, keen observation, and the thrill of the "Eureka!" moment when the evidence finally speaks. This is a full-day program.
