About this event
Ever dreamed of making your own film? Join us this summer and bring your creative vision to life! In this hands-on camp, you’ll work with a director and a team of fellow filmmakers to create a short film from start to finish. You’ll dive into all aspects of filmmaking, from writing the screenplay and developing characters, to acting, visual storytelling, and sound design. Learn how to operate cameras, capture stunning shots, and use editing software to piece everything together. Whether you want to direct, act, or handle the technical side, this camp will give you the skills and experience to make your own movie magic. By the end of the week, you’ll have your very own short film to showcase and be proud of. Perfect for aspiring directors, actors, and anyone who wants to learn what it takes to create a movie! You can check out Young Moviemakers on YouTube to see films from past summer programs at Collingwood Camps. This program is a full-day and run by Young Moviemakers instructors.
