These classes are for everybody! Up to 4 people can work on a shared project for one registration fee. Children aged 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

October: Cake Pop Creations - Sunday, October 18th, 2:00 - 4:00 PMCost: $50 (covers up to 4 people working on one set of 12 cake pops)Get into the spirit of the season with a fun, hands-on cake pop decorating class! During this 2-hour class, you’ll learn the techniques for creating and decorating festive cake pops, from preparing and shaping the pops to dipping, decorating, and adding seasonal details.
This class is designed for adults or adult & child pairs and is a great way to learn new decorating skills while creating something delicious to take home and enjoy. No previous experience is necessary—just come ready to have fun and get creative!
November: Buttercream Cupcake Decorating - Sunday, November 15th, 2:00–4:00 PMCost: $50 (covers up to 4 people working on one set of 12 cupcakes)Take your cupcake decorating skills to the next level in this 2-hour, hands-on class focused on buttercream techniques! You’ll learn how to work with buttercream to create beautiful seasonal cupcake designs while practicing piping techniques, decorating details, and finishing touches.
Whether you’re new to cake decorating or looking to build your skills, this class offers a relaxed and creative way to learn while making cupcakes you’ll be proud to share. Grab a friend, bring your child, and come ready to create together!

December: Royal Icing Cookie Decorating - Sunday, December 13th, 2:00–4:00 PMCost: $50 (covers up to 4 people working on one set of 12 cupcakes)Celebrate the season with beautifully decorated cookies! In this 2-hour class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of decorating cookies with royal icing, including icing consistency, piping, flooding, and adding decorative details. You’ll put those skills into practice as you create a collection of festive seasonal cookies.
This class is perfect for adults or adult & child pairs who want to learn the techniques behind those beautifully decorated cookies you see in holiday displays. No decorating experience is required—come learn, create, and enjoy a little holiday sweetness!
For ALL Classes:

• All classes held at West Salem Park & Rec office (175 Leonard St. S.)
• Classes require a minimum of 2 registrants or groups to be held. If the minimum registration is not met, the class will be canceled and registered participants will receive a full refund.
• All courses are 2 hours in length and include hands-on, personal instruction from Laura.
• All courses will feature seasonal decorations.
• Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult.
• Pre-registration is required. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated.
• Registration is available through West Salem Parks & Recreation, either online or in our office.
