This activity is closed to further registration.

Learn how to buy and raise chicks for eggs and meat. We'll cover shelter, care, nutrition, breed characteristics and processing for the dinner table. Ages 18 and up. $40 per person. To register by phone instead, call 630-206-9576.

This program takes place in the wagon shed. 10 a.m. to noon will be the informational portion. You are not required to participate in the afternoon processing portion. We will break for lunch and then butcher chickens starting at 1 p.m.
