It is only required 1 per home. Fall Session: Marine Biology Dive into the fascinating world beneath the waves in this engaging half-year middle school marine biology course. Through lecture videos, hands-on activities, and weekly worksheets/quizzes, students will discover the incredible diversity of ocean life and ecosystems—from coral reefs and tide pools to deep-sea environments and marine mammals. Students will study foundational marine science topics including ocean habitats, food webs, marine organisms, conservation, and the unique features that allow life to thrive in the sea. Weekly homework will include watching video lectures, taking notes, and completing worksheets/quizzes. There is no textbook reading required for this course. Hands-on activities, guided exploration, and class discussions will help bring marine science to life in an enjoyable and memorable way. A Marine Biology Explorer’s Handbook for notes and lab activities is included in the class price and will need to be printed by the parent.
