Take Heart Workshop w/Linda Lurcott A One Day Jewelry Workshop
Take Heart is one day workshop designed to explore making metal hearts in a short period of time. We will create a variety of hearts, using wire and or sheet metal with handheld tools. Basic metal smithing skills will be applied. Take Heart is the perfect class for those new to metals. Demonstrations will be provided to offer skill set options, as well as design choices. Following demos personal assistance will be available so that everyone can take home one or more metal heart.
Students will need the following: Apron and Safety glasses Jeweler’s saw blades #3 and/or #4 Optional: Sterling silver round wire 18-16 gauge Sterling silver sheet 18-20 gauge Optional: Pen and notebook
