Silver Bezel Set Cabochon Ring (Adults)
In this one-day workshop you will be learning the basics of working with sterling silver using various traditional jeweler's tools and techniques. You will learn how to measure a cabochon stone for a bezel, cut, solder, form, set and finish your very own ring. Materials will be provided at a $20 fee at the start of class. You will pick from various semi-precious stones of my collection like aventurine, onyx, carnelian, malachite, mother of pearl and more!
Materials: 1 cabochon stone about 8mm 3" 14g square silver wire 1 8mm sedated bezel cup 1 7mm 20g sterling jump ring 1 Plastic Ring sizer 1/3rd sheet of 220grit sandpaper 1/3rd sheet of 400grit sandpaper 1/3rd sheet of 600grit sandpaper 1/8’’ hard & medium solder and flux
