ART FROM THE HEART WITH Sandi Neiman Lovitz. Discover the joy of Intuitive Painting—Under the guidance of Sandi, you’ll learn to trust your instincts, embrace spontaneity, and allow your art to flow freely by intuition and the quiet rhythm of your own spirit.Join us and a welcoming community of fellow creatives for relaxing afternoon sessions where we’ll let go of expectations and dive into the process of painting from the heart.Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time or you’re an experienced artist hoping to reconnect with spontaneity, this class is the perfect space to explore and play. Add expression to your art by using colors you were afraid to use, making silly marks, and doing things with the innocence of a child. You’ll learn to bring emotion and energy into your work while developing a stronger sense of composition, space, rhythm, and technique—using acrylics as your main medium. Each session is designed to help you express your inner voice, experiment fearlessly, and most importantly, have fun making art!


Materials:
Acrylic Paints…if you are new to acrylic paints Liquitex Basics paint, (I like the Basics Set by Liquitex because it has a lot of different colors in very small amounts so that you can try out .) but buy a big tube of Titanium white
Colors I recommend if you are buying separately: a lot of Titanium White , Cadmium yellow medium and Cadmium yellow light,Cadmium Orange, IvoryBlack, Primary Red or Cadmium Red Lght, Pthalo and Ultramarine Blue, Burnt umber, Quinacridone Magenta, Dioxazine Purple, and Pthalo GreenI have used all of the above
My favorite ..but more expensive…Nova Color Paint which is as good any other professional acrylic( Liquitex or Golden) It can only be ordered from their website….and does charge shippingMake sure that you get a bigger container of titanium white acrylic paint. You will use that a lot.

Stabilo…The Woody 3 in one pencil..come in a 10 pack or an 18 (full set pack has a sha) (Amazon)
KWIK STIX… 24 count or more solid Tempera Stix (AMAZON) I love these…
Silicone Paint Shapers
Brushes from 1/4 inch to 4 inch flat acrylic brushes
Palette Knives
Scissors, masking tape
Plastic Adjustable Spray Bottle for water( AMAZON)
Large palette paper or use at least 12” x 16”Large container for water
