Design and construct towers to support loads and meet design constraints, and then make them crash! Working in a variety of materials (plastics, wood, and metal), students explore the geometry of strength and stability while designing and building towers that support loads from above. We will then test those towers to measure the weights they support, see the ways they fail, and build better understanding of how the tall stand strong. $50 deducted from allotment.
