About this event
3-D Art Studio 1: This course will enable the student to explore a number of techniques and skills required for successful production within ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, and/or fibers. Emphasis will be placed on enhancing creativity through problem solving and proper demonstration of procedures and methods. Art history, criticism, and aesthetics will be included as viewpoints in looking at and discussing art. 3-D Art Studio 2: This more advanced course challenges the student for further development of skills of technique and expression in ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, and/or fibers. Students will need to demonstrate understanding of the technical process, impact of recognized artisans, and cultural influences. $300/yr
