WHY THE TOUR DE RACHA MATTERS?
Each year thousands of children in our country suffer and even die from abuse or neglect. These children can be anywhere, including your own neighborhood. Child Abuse claims more victims than any disease. They experience physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, neglect, bullying, human trafficking, domestic violence, which in many cases go unreported.
WE FIGHT FOR THESE CHILDREN! WILL YOU JOIN THE FIGHT?
Your support by riding individually, organizing a group or donating can help these children. Join our movement to “End Child Abuse Now”, by supporting Family Ties, Family Resource Serivces. Let’s all stand together and show Child Victims that they are not alone.
Let’s give them a place they can turn to for help and let’s help their families provide a safe environment for them to flourish. Family Ties, Family Resource Services was established to address child abuse issues, family violence, sexual assault and other children’s crisis issues. These services are paramount in helping child victims and their families heal in a supportive environment.
In addition to providing free services for children victims and their families, primary prevention and intervention services are provided as well. Working collaboratively with local schools, churches and community organizations; Family Ties is able to provide crisis services in Waller, Austin and Harris counties.
Please support our efforts by joining us in April for the Tour de RACHA our 12th Annual “Ride Against CHild Abuse.” There is no better, or more important, cause than our Children, our future. Join us in “Bringing Children’s Safety to the Forefront”
