Coaching and playing is an opportunity to teach life lessons through the sport of volleyball, whether competitive or recreational. During the PONO Volleyball Academy we will teach and enforce skills; forearm/overhand passing, serving, setting, hitting, and digging. During our academy, our coaching staff will bring experience and wealth of knowledge while sharing their passion for volleyball as well as their experience as a student-athlete. We will strive to convey what it means to be a student-athlete, and will create opportunities within our training sessions to address academics, social media, teamwork, behavior and more. We are excited to open up PONO to all genders. We are adding a Sunday Game Play component this year where players can learn how to implement skills taught in a game situation. Sunday times are from 11am-1pm. There are no discounts for limited days or a late start date.
