About this event
"Objection!" It's one of the most recognizable words in the courtroom but knowing when and why to object is what separates skilled trial attorneys from everyone else. In this immersive prelaw course, you'll learn the purpose behind common courtroom objections, including hearsay, relevance, leading questions, speculation, and improper opinion testimony. Through realistic trial simulations and courtroom exercises, you'll practice recognizing objectionable testimony, making timely objections, and responding to challenges from opposing counsel. As you sharpen your legal reasoning and courtroom strategy, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the rules of evidence and discover how objections help ensure that trials are fair, reliable, and based on admissible evidence.
