This engaging workshop invites the community to explore a variety of artistic techniques through interactive, age-appropriate stations designed to spark curiosity, imagination, and fun.Discover the traditional Japanese art of Origami, where a simple square sheet of paper is transformed into intricate sculptures using only folding techniques—no cuts, glue, or markings. Guided by examples and instruction, participants will create their own fun and expressive paper designs while learning about this centuries-old practice.Experience the magic of sunlight and nature through solar printing, a creative process connected to the scientific principles of Photosynthesis and light exposure. Using special light-sensitive paper, participants will arrange local leaves and plants to create stunning blue-and-white prints. As the sun reacts with the paper, covered areas remain white while exposed areas turn a rich blue, resulting in beautiful images that highlight shapes, patterns, and negative space. This workshop encourages exploration, learning, and artistic expression in a relaxed, welcoming environment.Come join us and take home some unique and fun!
