Who: Out and About (Criteria: Individuals 13+ with a primary diagnosis of autism are eligible to attend. Out-n-About is designed for individuals who do not meet the communication and behavior criteria for Teen Time or Social Club but still want and need to spend time with their peers enjoying recreational activities. Participants may be non-verbal and/ or exhibit stereotypical behaviors. Students who become physically aggressive when frustrated may not be good candidates for the Out-n-About program.) What: Come join FACT as we enjoy kicking back and watching the Norfolk Tides play at Harbor Park! Come cheer for our local baseball team at one of their home games with friends from FACT for a night. Where: Drop off & Pick up will be @ the FACT Autism Resource Center 3509 Virginia Beach Blvd. Virginia Beach, VA 23452 When: Friday June 12, 2026 5:30pm-9:30pm. Please note: Price includes staff, transportation, and admission to Harbor Park. Additional concessions are not included. If you would like, please provide your child CASHLESS monies to purchase additional concessions. Why: To provide social interaction and community engagement opportunities to teens and young adults with autism. How: Adult staff and chaperones will provide 1:1 or 1:2 supervision.
