This course is presented with the support of Victoria Baroque and Early Music Vancouver.

This intensive training program is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in baroque performance on period instruments and develop your technical and stylistic understanding and your ensemble-playing skills in a focused and friendly environment, led by leading early music specialists from across Canada, from the United States, and from Europe.

Auditors receive access to audit all masterclasses, group classes, lectures, student and faculty concerts, and ensemble rehearsals. Please note: auditors observe, they do not sing or play their instrument. Auditors are welcome to ask questions and engage in discussions.

Refund Policy

Program viability is based upon minimum enrollment. As such, there are no refunds available after the registration deadline (in most cases, four weeks prior to the program start date), except in cases of injury or illness (for which a doctor’s note is required), or other exceptional circumstance, such as family re-location.
Prior to the registration deadline, tuition may be refunded, pending the approval of the Artistic Director. Application and transaction fees are non-refundable. Withdrawal requests must be made in writing to the Victoria Conservatory of Music’s Registrar’s Office. Requests made after the completion of a given program will not be considered.
