Description

Students play their instruments in a live peer band, guided by an instructor. Groups are formed based on preferred instrument and experience, and the music is chosen collaboratively, with the option to include original material. Throughout the program, students explore jamming and arranging songs in ways that suit their individual abilities and musical personalities.

The experience builds a deeper understanding of popular music styles, grooves, live performance, and the ways instruments interact within a band setting. Drums, amplifiers, and a PA system are all provided. Singers are welcome!
