Recorder Band for Kids (Ages 8–11)

Did you enjoy playing the recorder at school and want to take it a step further? Join this fun and social class where young players can continue developing their skills while making music together! Students will explore a variety of easy duets, trios, and quartets in a supportive group setting.
This class is designed for students with some prior recorder experience and builds upon the basics learned in school.
Required Materials: • A good quality plastic soprano, alto, or tenor recorder (Yamaha 300 Series or Aulos 700 Haka Series are recommended) • Method for the Recorder, Book 1 by Mario Duschenes Instruments and books are available at Long & McQuade or through online retailers.
