Description

Our ensemble flies in musical formation. We play melody in powerful unison or break into harmonious splinter groups, adding layers of octaves and counter-melodies. But no matter where the music takes us, we are always a cohesive unit, soaring toward the same finale.
All members will build their skills as accompanists with lessons on strumming and fingerpicking. For those who are ready to stand out, there will also be opportunities to take flight with solos—like the most daring ducks leading the formation.• Acoustic guitar only• Short pre-recorded examples and tablature provided.o No sight reading required• Parts are written to accommodate intermediate beginner to intermediate advanced players.• Lessons in technique and warm-ups will accompany the class• Warm up your beak and vocal chords for a singing and strumming break in each class• Song selections will include folk, and popular music styles
