An exciting new initiative from the Victoria Conservatory of Music, Big Band gives students an incredible opportunity to explore the big band jazz tradition while improving their musicianship and instrumental abilities. Led by Juno-nominated saxophonist Ryan Oliver, the band rehearses weekly in a challenging, supportive, and inspiring environment, focusing on a wide variety of composers and arrangers and culminating in a public performance each semester.
