To the 2026 Spring Mini Session Registration for the Nechako Valley Swim Club!
Session Dates:
- March 19 to April 24th.
*There will not be practice on Friday April 3rd - in observation of Good Friday
Registration will be closed on March 31st.
There are no Pups or Masters Practice Groups for this session.
The practice schedule for this session:
Thursdays:
- 3:30pm-4:30pm Intermediate and Advanced
- 4:30pm-5:30pm Development
Fridays:
- 3:30pm-4:30pm Intermediate/Advanced
- 4:30pm-5:30pm Development
- 5:30pm-6:15pm Pre-Development

Please remember that under BCSSA Fall/Winter guidelines:
- Swimmers are only allowed to train for two coached hours per week!
- Attendance will be taken to ensure swimmers do not exceed this limit.
Registration Form Questions and Answer Guide:
When asked about BCSSA Swimmer’s Declaration.
- If your swimmer is under 20 years old select "S" Swimmer
- If you or your swimmer is 20 years old or older, select "O" Swimmer.
When asked "What best describes your swimmer?"
- Select "WS" Swims in the fall, winter and summer.
- If you swam with the club in the summer 2025
- Select "WW" Swims only in the fall and winter.
- Any new registrations as of March 2026.
When asked “What sport(s) does this athlete participate in the BCSSA?"
- Select Speed Swimming
Please add the additional purchase of the BCSSA fee:
- If your swimmer has not swam with us during the:
- 2025 Summer Session, 2025 Fall Session, or the 2026 Winter Maintenance Session
If you are new to the Nechako Otters,
- Please contact nvsc.regisrar.otters@gmail. com to determine if your swimmer needs a swim assessment prior to registering. The Masters Group does not an require assessment.
- As a general minimum requirement, Pre-Development Group(Min 5yrs old) and up, swimmers must be able swim 25 meters (one length of the pool, in any stroke) without a floatation device and in deep water. They will also have to be able to swim multiple lengths in one session.
