CeramicsAges 9-12 & 13-17

Students explore wheel-throwing and ceramic design, transforming concept sketches into finished pieces while learning to centre, shape, lift, and trim forms. They combine these skills with hand-building techniques such as pinch-pot, coil, and slab work, using a variety of tools and processes to modify and refine their work. The course also introduces different surface decoration and glazing techniques, encouraging creative experimentation with both form and finish.
