Description

Grounded in the Suzuki Method, this introductory cello class is the perfect jump-start for your little one's future in music. Over the course of 5 days, a small cohort of up to 8 complete beginners will build a pretend cello, to practice the following skills:

• Sitting with the best posture to play the cello
• Treating the instrument with care and respect.
• Clapping some basic rhythms and singing songs featured in the first Suzuki pieces.
• Listening to lots of cello playing to build excitement and anticipation.

Through fun and engaging games and exercises, by the end of the week participants will build up to an exciting introduction to the *real instrument*!
