Description

This course, taught by Noah Franche-Nolan, explores the structures and forms that shape jazz repertoire while providing practical tools for original composition through the study of classic and modern jazz forms, and the integration of harmonic concepts from Jazz Language I to help students develop their own small-form compositions and compositional voice in jazz.
