Character Design & IllustrationAges 9-12

Students create original characters with distinct personality, appearance, and visual style while learning how character design is used across animation, comics, and video games. Through figure drawing, basic anatomy, facial expressions, costume, and prop design, they explore how shape, colour, and form communicate emotion and identity. Emphasis is placed on developing visual storytelling skills, encouraging students to express their own ideas and narratives through imaginative and thoughtfully designed characters.
