Pre-Elementary
Ages 11-12 | Levels 6-7
This after-school program introduces dancers to the rigour and physical demands of professional training, with a primary focus on ballet. Students take 12-16 hours of class per week, receiving an in-depth education with an emphasis on technique, vocabulary, and style. In addition to regular classes, advanced students work with renowned guest artists and perform world-class choreography through participation in Arts Umbrella Dance Company. Performances are an integral part of the program, through which students develop a strong sense of community and a thorough understanding of their craft.
Dancers enrolled must attend one week of our Junior Summer Dance Intensive each summer.
Admissions are by audition.
