About this event
Calling all video game enthusiasts! If you’re curious what goes into making your favourite games and want to explore a variety of game design elements, join your fellow coders for a week of fun and educational gaming activities! From digital character design and multiple coding languages to learning about programs used in game development, the Game Design camp will take you beyond the screen and immerse you in the world of game design. All skill levels welcome. No previous programming experience is necessary. Join this camp if you like video games and want to learn the basics of game design and make some cool interactive projects and scripts. This program is intended for participants entering grade 6/7 in September 2023. NOTE: The same themes at the same grade level will contain the same content across all weeks. For example, Maker 2/3 (Week 1) will contain the same material as Maker 2/3 (Week 7).
