2D Digital AnimationAges 6-8, 9-12, 13+
Using professional software Adobe Animate, students bring their stories to life. At early levels, students understand the workflow from drawing to digital, developing basic computer skills to build confidence with the keyboard, mouse, and drawing tablet. They will cover animation fundamentals such as key frames, using the timeline, and story structure. AS students progress, they will expand on those with projects that challenge their storytelling and animation skills to explore concepts such as tweening, lip-syncing and character rigging. All ages will learn the 12 Principles of Animation including squash and stretch, anticipation, exaggeration, and more to create imaginative and expressive stories.
