ArchitectureAges 6-8, 9-12 | offered at Surrey Centre

Students develop creative problem-solving and design thinking skills as they progress from sketching to model-making, designing and building their own 3D architectural models in response to inspiring design challenges. They learn to sketch floorplans, façades, and site views, while exploring fundamental model-making techniques to bring their design concepts to life. Using paper, cardboard, wire, wood, and mixed media, students create compelling structures from basic shapes, gaining an understanding of key principles such as balance, form, function, material, line, and space.
