3D Modeling \& AnimationAges 9-12, 13+

Using Blender, students learn how to model and sculpt their own digital 3D assets to create expressive objects, characters, and environments. They will learn how to navigate the powerful and complex world of Blender using the move, rotate and scale tools and enter the Edit Mode to push, pull, cut and shape a variety of 3D objects using the extrude, inset, loop cut, bevel tool and more. They will then learn how to introduce movement to their creations including the use of key frames, tweening and camera tracks and as they progress, they'll consider camera and shot selections, lighting, and texture to breathe life into their creations and tell their unique story.
