Teachers: Mark Tennyson and Marissa Shaevel Join the LightningBots and explore the exciting world of robotics through the internationally recognized FIRST LEGO League (FLL)! Students will design, build, and program LEGO® robots while developing teamwork, problem-solving, creativity, and STEM skills. This year's BIOGLOW challenge invites teams to explore how nature inspires innovation and create solutions that support healthy ecosystems. Teams compete throughout the fall in local tournaments, with opportunities to advance to regional competitions. To prepare for the season, students are expected to attend Monday classes and two Saturday Intensives (Sept. 26 & Oct. 10, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM). A Wednesday Robotics Lab is also available for make-up sessions or additional practice. Plan on a competition taking place in October and another in early November. More details will be emailed.
