Students will bring the magic of the big screen to life as they learn and perform familiar melodies inspired by beloved film soundtracks, including selections from Disney favorites and other iconic movie scores. This program offers students an enriching, hands-on musical experience that blends in-depth learning, consistent practice, and the joy of ensemble performance. It’s a fantastic opportunity for young musicians to develop their skills, build confidence, and feel the thrill of performing cinematic classics that everyone loves. Students will conclude the program with an intimate performance on Tuesday, May 19, 2025, where families can celebrate their child’s progress in a supportive and inspiring environment. K–1st: Violin (sized for each student) 2nd: Violin, Clarinet, Trumpet 3rd: Violin, Cello, Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet 4th–6th: Violin, Cello, Flute, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Trumpet Teacher 1 2:10 PM - 2:55 PM: Kinder Violins (Kindergarten Only) 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM: Grades 1st-2nd Strings (beginners & returning students) 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM: Grades 3rd-6th Strings (beginners & returning students) Teacher 2 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM: Grades 2nd-6th Winds (beginner students) 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM: Grades 3rd-6th Winds (advanced/returning students) The final class schedule for students in grades 1–6 will be emailed prior to the first day of classes and will be determined based on enrollment, instrument type, and skill level. We recommend keeping the full time block from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM available on Tuesdays until schedules are confirmed. Students who are not scheduled in an orchestra session during any portion of the 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM block will be placed in After School Play (ASP) at no additional cost.
