THIS COURSE COVERS THE NEW 2024 LIFEGUARD MATERIALS This course is for current or recently expired (no more than 30 days) ARC Lifeguards. Candidates must: -Possess a current LG certification or expired by no more than 30 days. Course Description: Typical course details: (While each course may vary, most of our courses follow the following details.) -This course is now Blended Learning, due to the new 2024 material -In-person training is scheduled for 9 hours and 30 Minutes and is broken into two days To participate and pass the course: (Participants must meet a variety of criteria to participate and pass the course successfully.) -Must be able to attend scheduled class time -ARC lifeguard certification must be current or within 30 days of expiration -Must successfully pass the r24 Lifeguarding pre-course skills test (Swim-Tred-Swim, Times Brick retrieval.) -Pass one written exam with 80% or better -Pass scenario-based skills testing.
