About this event
The primary purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding course is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide professional-level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel take over. Pre-COURSE INFORMATION: 1) Swim-Tread-Swim, & 2) Time Brick Retrieval. LG COURSE INFORMATION: DATE | TIME -Friday TBD-8:30 PM -Saturday 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM Classroom | Lunch 12:30 to 1:30 PM | 1:30 to 6:00 PM Water -Sunday 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM Classroom | Lunch 12:30 to 1:30 PM | 1:30 to 6:00 PM Water *class can run long with final testing be prepared to stay as we complete all skills test for all students in needed. BLENDED LEARNING We are excited to offer you American Red Cross Lifeguarding Blended Learning. Blended learning combines online learning with in-person skills sessions where you will practice skills and demonstrate competency. Plan to complete all eLearning prior the in-person class.
