🏀 MAMBA AZ 8TH GRADE COMPETITIVE TEAM Led by Coach AB, with Coach Adam Built to prepare our athletes for high school basketball, this team emphasizes conditioning, offensive and defensive concepts, decision-making, teamwork, accountability, and competitive play. Our goal is to help each athlete understand the game, develop consistent habits, and compete with confidence. SUNDAY SCHEDULE Sporting Chance Center | 9:30–11:30 AM October: 18, 25 November: 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 December: 6, 13, 20 October 25 was a player-led workout using a prepared practice plan. REGISTRATION INCLUDES • Scheduled Sunday court time • Coaching and practice planning • Four planned scrimmages with referees and a scorekeeper • A team jersey and shorts, with maroon and silver colors planned TOURNAMENTS Tournament entry fees are separate from registration. Travel, lodging, and meals are not included. Phoenix tournaments under consideration: • HoopsGiving Classic: November 28–29, 2026 • Jingle Bell Rock: December 26–27, 2026 • Holiday Hoopfest: January 2–3, 2027 Tournament participation and associated costs will be communicated separately. Holiday Hoopfest falls outside this registration period. Any practice changes resulting from tournament participation will be announced through Band. FUNDRAISING A team fundraiser is planned to help offset uniform and tournament expenses for the remainder of 2026. The amount covered will depend on funds raised. Families will receive details explaining how proceeds will be applied. TEAM COMMUNICATION Schedules, updates, scrimmage details, and tournament information will be shared through our team Band group. Registration is reserved for invited players.
