Hosted by SuperNOVA, sponsored by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, the Climate Education Teacher Conference will feature 1 day of interactive Professional Development (PD) sessions designed around climate change and environmentalism. Participants in these PD events will leave feeling confident in their abilities to build impactful climate education. The conference is free of charge with meals being complementary; the sessions will be offered in English & French. Registration includes breakfast and lunch for attendees of the conference, door prizes, a classroom kit of materials, and swag! A $200 stipend is available for those attending from outside of the city! Registration is open for teachers of grades 7 in all Regional Centres for Education & CSAP. We may be expanding to grade 8 as well - keep an eye out!
