Carlsbad Triathlon
Carlsbad, California - July 12, 2015

This sprint triathlon starts a 1K ocean swim at Tamarack State Beach, which is a little calmer than most San Diego County beaches. It's followed by a 25K bike ride and a 5K run. The entire course is along the coast of this seaside town.
Block Island Triathlon
Block Island, Rhode Island - August 1, 2015

This sprint triathlon takes place on an island off the coast of Rhode Island. It starts with a quarter-mile swim off the waters on the east side of the island. Get back on dry land and bike for 12 miles before finishing with a 4-mile run.

Swim 1.2 miles in in Pacific Ocean off the coast of Coronado, where the water temperature will be around 58 degrees. Then, go on a fast-and-flat 56-mile bike ride before a tough 13.1-mile run on three different terrains—soft sand, hard sand and pavement.
Santa Cruz Triathlon

Swim in the Pacific Ocean in this 33rd annual event that features both sprint and Olympic options. The race begins at the iconic Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, where participants will swim around the pier with the water typically at its warmest temperature—around 60 degrees—of the year. Even better, your registration money is being used wisely, as this non-profit event has donated more than $1.5 million to local high schools, colleges and sports clubs.
Sunshine Sprint Triathlon

This sprint triathlon consists of a quarter-mile swim in the Atlantic Ocean, a 9.5-mile bike ride that crosses Ernest Lyons Bridge, and a 3.1-mile walk or run from Stuart Beach along Hutchinson Island. All proceeds from the event are donated to Sunshine Kids, a non-profit organization in Florida.

With Coligny Beach being both hard and flat, organizers decided to race the entire triathlon on it. There is a quarter-mile ocean swim, a 6-mile bike ride on the beach (mountain bikes preferred), and a 3-mile run, which is also on the beach.
