This is a summer speed swimming club for swimmers who want to race and improve their strokes. The regular season runs from May 4th until August 2nd. If swimmers qualify for Provincials, they are being held in Kamloops, August 10-16th, 2026.
To run our Club and Swim Meets, parent volunteers are essential and it is mandatory that parents be willing to help out in some capacity. Please email us at trail.stingrays@gmai.com if you have any questions about this. Typically it is supporting swim meets.
Swimmers must be able to swim one length of the pool (25m) unassisted to join.
We have two age groups to choose from (they are divided up based on Competitive Divisions):
- Junior ages 7-12 (swimmers born May 1st, 2014 and after)
- Senior ages 12-99 (swimmers born on or before April 30, 2014)
* We may move some swimmers between groups to balance out numbers. We will contact you if this is the case.
All of our programs start on Monday, May 4th at the Trail Aquatic Centre.
Practices in May are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday; Juniors 5:00-6:00, Seniors 4:00-5:00 p.m. Seniors also may swim on Friday mornings, 6:45-7:45 a.m.
In June & July, more practice days and times are added for Junior and Senior Swimmers. Please check our calendar on our webpage.

It is mandatory for swimmers to have a valid TRP card before registering for our club, please email us if you need assistance applying/have any questions about this.
Registration opens on April 1, 2026 for past Stingray members, April 8th for new registrants and closes July 15, 2025. We are unable to offer pro-rated rates for late registrants.
