Description

We will look at classic poetry forms and a few contemporary twists on these forms with the intent of creating our own original works. These forms include Couplets, Quatrains (Rubaiyat), Limericks, Sonnets, Ghazal, and the 16-bar verse form of Rap music. Brief discussion on stanza, meter, measure, verse and Free Verse included -as well as how to effectively “unrhyme” poems.
