Our Before & Afterschool programs are planned to work towards achieving our established program outcomes to promote personal and group growth. As a HIGH FIVE Accredited organization, all programs will incorporate the five guiding principles which will ensure a positive experience in a recreation setting. The principles are a Caring Adult, opportunity to make Friends, opportunity to Play, opportunity to Master Skills, and opportunity to Participate. Program staff plan activities that promote growth in a number of different areas that include cognitive, physical, social, language, emotional development and community involvement through the lens of HIGH FIVE. The program also provides opportunities for the children to develop leadership and life skills as well as promoting family wellness. Children must be in Grade 1 to Grade 6 and attending the school to qualify for this program. A nutritious snack is offered in the Breakfast Program and After School. This program is ONLY for children that attend this school
