Kids Kollective March Break Boot Camp: City Place Toronto Program Overview: This March Break, Kids Kollective is excited to offer a 4-day boot camp for young tech enthusiasts aged 2-14 at City Place, Toronto! Guided by an industry leader with over 12 years of experience, participants will dive into Hardware Building, UX/UI Design, and Software Development. With fun, interactive, hands-on activities, kids will leave the program with new skills and even a computer they build themselves! Details: Ages: 2-14 Dates: March 11–14, 2024 (4-day boot camp) Daily Duration: 3 hours per day (3:30 PM – 6:30 PM) Location: City Place, Toronto Capacity: Limited to 40 participants Courses Include: 1. Build a Computer (Hardware): Kids will assemble their own computers while learning about the components and their functions. Each participant will take home their custom-built computer, fostering curiosity about technology. 2. UX/UI Design: Participants will explore the basics of user experience and interface design, learning to create intuitive and visually appealing layouts with usability in mind. 3. Software Development: Kids will gain foundational coding skills, building simple software or games they can enhance and explore further at home.
