Tactical Shepherd joins forces with Operational Development Solutions for this once in a lifetime training opportunity. Grab your tent, gear, and brace yourself for a truly incredible outdoors adventure. An awesome camping, rifle training experience in the breathtaking mountains of West Virginia. No man or woman could ask for more!!! Ring some steel at a half mile away in the beautiful mountains of wild, wonderful West Virginia. This course is ideal for the tactical long range marksman as well as the long range rifle hunter. This is a two day course and space is limited on the firing line to maximize your trigger time. (Students will meet at a predetermined rally point near Paw Paw WV.) DAY 1: Classroom instruction, Rifle zero, Long range shooting instruction DAY 2: "Mini Sniper Competition" among students (prize for the winner) Range Estimation Long Range targets Target Detection Positional Shooting Gear List: Precision rifle with a bipod and A minimum of 300 rounds (minimum) of match grade ammunition (no magnum loads), Food and water to sustain yourself for 2 full days in the mountains, Cold weather gear, Rain gear, One can of neon yellow (or neon orange) spray paint, Ruck capable of holding all of your equipment for the day, 10 or 12 pieces of split firewood, Note taking materials, Hand warmers and anything else you might need for two full days of shooting in the mountains. Students who do not wish to ruck the 0.9 mile trail to the top can ride in a 4x4 or ATV. Don’t let the ruck discourage you!! Cost per student $350
