Ice Axe will be offering an incredible opportunity to ski tour the NW Caucus mountains for acclimatization and then make an attempt to climb and ski Mt. Elbrus, The highest peak in Europe. This is a unique opportunity of skiing in Mount Elbrus (5642 m), also known as the top of Europe. An 11-day/10-night guided ski touring program starts in Moscow for 2 days then moves to the area of Mesita Pass (3500m), Kolavganaush Pass (3500m), Gumachi Pass (3575m). We will then attempt to climb and ski Mount Elbrus (4741m) — Europe’s highest peak. This schedule will allow you to prepare and maximize your chances to summit this spectacular peak. Mount Elbrus is located in the Caucasus region in Russia, at the border with Georgia. Ice Axe offers English-speaking guides with the highest level available. This will be an amazing cultural ski experience that you will never forget.
