Parent and child explore the aquatic environment together during this 30-minute class. This class is for children ages 6 months to 3 years. Skills will be tailored to the individual child based on age and skill level. The instructor will use songs and games to introduce basic swimming skills and to create a positive environment for parent/child interaction. In this class, you will help your child learn to blow bubbles, front and back floating, rolling from back to front and front to back, and grabbing the pool wall and safe entry/exit from the water. More advanced participants will focus on exploring body positions, breath control and will be encouraged to explore independence in the water.
