Registration includes weekly practice, sub-regional, and regional competition. State competition is not included and may have a separate fee if your team qualifies. New athletes will receive a basketball jersey. Returning athletes should use last year's jersey. All participants must wear athletic apparel (shorts, socks, sneakers).Roster spots are limited to 20 athletes (10 per team). Athletes will be evaluated to SOWA standards and may be placed at another level to best support their development and success.
Special Olympics has not released dates or locations for Sub-Regional or Regional Tournaments or State Games. A reliable email is required at registration for all updates.
***Special Olympics WA now requires all athlete forms to be submitted through their online registration portal. Paper forms (ARF/Medical) are no longer accepted. All forms must be completed before attending practice or competition.***
