Learn Ukulele basics with singer-songwriter Abby Litman! What You'll Learn: - Fundamentals of playing chords, strumming, and tuning your ukulele - How to play simple chord progressions - Some music theory - How to read rhythms and dissect strumming patterns - How to read chord charts and play along with others By the end of this course, you'll be able to search up chords to your favorite songs and play on your own! IMPORTANT NOTE: Ukuleles are NOT included in this course. We have a few ukuleles available for student use, for an extra $25. Please select this option at check-out. If you're interested in purchasing your own, contact us for recommendations. Abby Litman is a multi instrumentalist and folk singer songwriter based in Stonington. She got her BA in Popular Music Performance from the Thornton School of Music and has released original music and spent time on tour. She also leads the Deer Isle-Stonington Community Chorus and works with Mariner's Soar After School. Choose Your Tuition: We offer four tuition options for this class.
