Description
In this hands on series, we'll learn how to turn leftover holiday food into simple, tasty new meals. Each week, we'll work with familiar ingredients like turkey, mashed potatoes and vegetables to create easy dishes such as sandwiches, wraps, soups, and baked snacks. Participants will practice basic kitchen skills like spreading, stirring, measuring, and using the microwave or oven safely. Recipes will be simple, with step by step guidance to help everyone feel confident and independent in the kitchen. Along the way, we'll have fun, try new ideas, and share our creations together. By the end of the class, everyone will have new ways to enjoy leftovers, new kitchen skills, and lots of tasty memories!
